        沈从文昨晚写稿到半夜，迷迷糊糊间，隐约听到有人在院子里喊：“子沅兄，从文兄，出门上班啰！”

        “来了，来了！”沈从文翻身爬起，慌慌忙忙地来到院中洗漱。

        李寿民也不着急，耐心在旁等待，抬头欣赏树枝间跳跃鸣叫的鸟儿。

        又过了好几分钟，朱湘才打着哈欠现身，睡眼迷蒙地说：“才几点钟啊，你们起得也太早了。”

        李寿民笑道：“这边离报馆有点远，早些起床才不会迟到。”
